We have said it before, but Gian Pero Gasperini has transformed Atalanta in the Ajax of 2020; an appealing club with fast paced football. They are by far the most productive team in the Serie A, with 21 goals over Juventus (with a game less played!).
Napoli ain’t no pushover either. Their return to the Serie A has been successful as well without a single loss. They also played more games due to the Coppa Italia (winning it), turning this season into a positive one, even though they might want to have been higher up the charts. Gattuso will rely on his defense for this game, bricking the Atalanta advance and playing on the counter.
Atalanta Napoli Predictions
Malinovsky is suspended for Atalanta and Malcuit is injured on the side of Napoli. But both are not irreplaceable. Their last encounter ended up in a 2-2, so this doesn’t give us much to work with. What is interesting to point out is that six out of their 7 last encounters ended up with over 2.5 goals.
