Due to previous season differences in quality, Fulham is expected to be the stronger team. That is the easy assumption, but it’s not the whole story. Barnsley is playing home and can call upon star striker Keiffer Moore once again, Fullham lost their star player this summer in Ryan Babel. This still isn’t the whole story though, the Tykes didn’t have a flawless preparation and it isn’t said and done that Moore has his full scoring potential back. Fullham might have lost Babel, but they managed to keep Mitrovic.
Barnsley vs Fullham Bet Tip
We fear that this game comes a bit to early for Barnsley, despite the home advantage. Both Fullham and Barnsley scored a lot during the preparations, so we do expect to see both on the scoreboard. Fullham to win and both teams to score would be our safe bet, 1-2 would be our brave bet. If you want to go against the odds for bigger wins, you could turn it around and make it a 2-1 or both teams to score and Barnsley to win. We wouldn’t vouch for this outcome, but it would make a nice surprise at the start of the season!
