Hard to beat
Though today’s deflated Mönchengladbach is hardly the club that made title candidates shiver and Bayern München will be stoked to get their first glimpse of the trophy by overwhelming their opponents. With two wins away from winning it all and seven points ahead on the number two Borussia Dortmund, The Rekordmeister will be motivated to the bone to take this one home.
Gladbach however still has a lot to fight for with a current fourth place. The Champions League is still in sight, even after the loss against Freiburg last week. Leverkusen has the same amount of points (56) and just a slightly worse goal difference.

No sure outright winner
The winning streak of Bayern is impressive, but betting on them as an outright winner is far from a safe bet. Gladbach has more to fight for, plays decent football and has won this fixture multiple times over the last years.. Lewandoski and Muller are not on the pitch, which is a huge drainage in goals. We expect both teams will be pleased with a draw, seeing the current situation.
Look out for
The French Gladbach striker Thuram against the veteran Jerome Boateng. A clash of generations. With the latter looking somewhat suspicious at times. Could the young striker open the score? It would be a wild, but interesting bet for sure!
