Premier League | 2020 Winner

An Outright Winner Premier League Bet on Liverpool at the start of the season would have been worth gold by now. Unfortunately, it’s a bit late to place a bet on the Premier League winner for this season. The only interesting bet prospect is with how many points Liverpool will end this season.

An Outright Winner Premier League Bet on Liverpool at the start of the season would have been worth gold by now. Unfortunately, it’s a bit late to place a bet on the Premier League winner for this season. The only interesting bet prospect is with how many points Liverpool will end this season. Are they gonna reach 100? Are they going for the full 112? Luckily, there is also still plenty to predict when it comes to the second place, Champions League placement and Europa League Placement. Let’s dive into the season and into the clubs and their rankings. Where do the chances lie for interesting final standing bets?

Leicester City & Manchester City fight for second place

Which City takes home the honour of second place; Leicester or Manchester? It’s crazy to think that Manchester won’t end up second place looking at their material, coach and last seasons. But Guardiola has made it clear he has his focus on winning the Champions League, for not winning that cup would make Guardiola’s time at City ‘a failure’. At least, in his own view. We think many others would disagree.

The english football season is a long one and Leicester City has the advantage of not having to play European Football. Manager Brendan Rodgers has created a true collective out of his team. The meeting between the two on 22nd of February will tell us a lot of who will end up becoming the best of the rest

Champions League Tickets Season 2020-2021

The problem with the Premier League is that there are too many good teams. We would like to see Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United and Arsenal in the Champions League. And if Sheffield United or Everton makes it; even better! Only four tickets are handed out though, so the majority of these teams will miss out this year. Since Liverpool surely takes one, there are effectively just three more tickets to divide among eight teams. The gap between the number three (Leicester City) and four (Chelsea) on the current standings is 8 points. At this stage of the season, eight points is actually quite a gap. An interesting bet would be to predict what four teams take home a ticket. If Chelsea wins their games against Manchester United (17 February) and Tottenham (22 February) they start to become a safe(r) bet as the fourth team for the ticket. If not, Tottenham is the next likely candidate.

Europa League Tickets Season 2020-2021

There are three consolation prizes for those who miss out on the Champions League ball. Some may find that degrading towards the Europa League, but it’s no secret that teams always aim to participate in the Champions League since the money involved is exponentially greater. And so is the exposure. And the theme. And the opponents. Nonetheless, enough honour and money is to be gained from actually winning the Europa League. And the Premier League teams have a good reputation in doing so lately with Chelsea and Manchester United. Showing how dominant England currently is in Europe.

There are a lot of teams in the race for these tickets. There are only 9 points between the current number 5 (Sheffield United) and the number 14 (Crystal Palace) in the standings. Daring to bet on which three teams will receive a Europa League Ticket by the end of the season is a really bold bet, but the most fun of them all if you ask us! We’re gonna make the prediction that Chelsea, Sheffield United and Manchester United are gonna take home the tickets. Why Manchester United and not Everton or Wolverhampton Wanderers you might ask? If you look at the goals scored and conceded, Manchester United has the best statistics. On the long run, we expect that to make the difference.

Premier League 2020 is an exciting season!

Well, a part from the prospective winner. There are a lot of teams struggling with their form, which results in an open field for all spots except the first. Giants from the past are looking to reclaim glory, while lesser known teams internationally are seizing the opportunity to squeeze and settle themselves between the traditional top of the hierarchy. There are still plenty of interesting bets to be made and great odds to be found for the Premier League season of 2019-2020!
